To assist in planning business trips to the UAE, around the school holidays for the 2023-24 academic year; and, the public holidays for the remainder of 2023, please check the below dates as a reference guide.
UAE School Terms & Holidays - Academic Year 2023-2024
Private schools with their academic year starting in September
28th August Start of academic year
11th December Start of winter break
2nd January 2024 Start of new term
25th March Start of spring break
15th April Start of new term
28th June End of academic year
Private schools with their academic year starting in April
3rd April Start of academic year
3rd July Start of summer break
28th August Start of new term
11th December Start of winter break
2nd January 2024 Start of new term
1st-31st March Schools can choose when their academic year ends, subject to completing the minimum 182 school days in the academic year, and receiving KHDA approval.
