When the UK says "wait", the UAE says "let's go".

Gateway To UAE helps British businesses escape stagnation and build a serious foothold in the UAE – with clear advice, practical setup support and a trusted partner on the ground.

Ambition stalled. Gateway To UAE helps British companies escape stagnation

Why UK‑only growth plans feel stuck

UK leaders are not short of ideas – they are short of momentum.

  • Flat or low growth in core UK markets.

  • Slow, cautious decision‑making that delays launches and investments.

  • Rising costs and regulatory complexity draining time and energy.

  • Strategic plans that never quite get off the ground.

What the UAE offers ambitious UK businesses

Dubai

1

Can‑do mindset

Decisions at pace and a “how do we make this work?” attitude from partners, regulators and free zones.

2

A platform, not just a market

A strategic base to reach the wider Middle East, Africa and South Asia from a stable, well‑connected hub.

3

Talent and opportunity in one place

A growing community of experienced professionals, entrepreneurs and investors who choose the UAE for opportunity and quality of life.

In short: a market that actively wants your business to grow.

We look beyond basic incorporation to ensure your structure, location and licences support your long‑term goals.

Hands‑on, on‑the‑ground

From dealing with authorities and banks to navigating local norms, we stay involved so your UAE presence works in practice, not just on paper.

Our story

Gateway Group Abu Dhabi company formation Nathan Hunt and Jenny Hunt

Gateway To UAE was created for British founders and boards who want a serious foothold in the Gulf – without having to learn everything the hard way. Having made the move ourselves, we know what it means to leave a familiar market, rebuild networks from scratch and put our own capital and careers on the line in the UAE.

That lived experience underpins every piece of advice we give.  We have walked the same path - navigating structures, regulations and the realities of doing business on the ground - and now use that experience to guide British companies working out how to make the same move.  Gateway to UAE is led by husband-and-wife team Jenny and Nathan Hunt, who have built their own businesses in the UAE and bring that hard-won perspective to every client they work with.

Why work with Gateway To UAE

The UAE rewards action – but getting your structure and strategy right from day one is critical. Gateway To UAE was built by entrepreneurs who have already made the move, invested and built multiple businesses here, so our advice is grounded in what actually works.

What this looks like in practice

A UK professional services firm had hit a ceiling at home. Margins were under pressure and key clients were shifting focus to international projects.

Working with Gateway To UAE, they chose the right jurisdiction, set up the optimal structure, completed licensing and became operational in the UAE within months. They entered the market with clear expectations on cost, timelines and opportunity – not guesswork.

Profit more, tax less: the UAE advantage for UK firms

Why British boards love the UAE tax regime is simple:

  • Low, simple corporate tax: 0% on taxable profits up to AED 375,000, 9% above that – no complex bands, no surprise surcharges.

  • Free zones built for international business: competitive treatment on qualifying income, 100% foreign ownership and full profit repatriation.

  • Keep more of what you earn: a lighter tax burden means more cash for growth, talent and innovation instead of the taxman.

  • Protection against double taxation: the UK–UAE double tax treaty helps reduce the risk of the same income being taxed twice.

  • You stay in control: Gateway To UAE works alongside your UK and UAE tax advisers so your structure, compliance and commercial goals stay aligned.
