Golden Visa For Family
Golden visa holders can sponsor their spouse and children's visas. Parents can also be sponsored, providing the criteria is met. Golden visas for family members are valid for 10 years, or the remaining validity of the primary visa holder's golden visa at the time of application.
Golden Visa Benefits For Family
In the unfortunate event of the primary golden visa holder's passing, family members can stay in the UAE until their own visa expiry.
Unlimited Domestic Workers
Golden visa holders can sponsor an unlimited number of domestic support helpers such as maids, drivers, gardeners etc.
Golden Visa Eligibility

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
An owner or partner who has obtained an approval for the concept of a pioneering business project by an approved business incubator or the Ministry of Economy or ICP or a competent local authority to establish the proposed activity in the UAE
An owner or partner in a pioneering business project within the sectors approved by the Ministry of Economy or ICP or a competent local authority. The business project must be classified as an SME achieving an annual revenue of no less than AED 1,000,000.
To be a founder or one of the founders of a previous pioneering project/projects that was/were sold with a total value of no less than AED 7,000,000 subject to the approval of the Ministry of Economy or ICP or a competent local authority.
Golden Visa Requirements

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
Attested education certificate
Valid practicing license in the UAE, if required
(eg physicians, pharmacists, teacher etc.)
Valid MOHRE work contract
Valid health insurance card copy
(Applicant must have valid health insurance from employer throughout the Golden Visa application process. Abu Dhabi health insurance must be maintained throughout the Golden Visa validity to avoid penalties.)
Salary Certificate in Arabic addressed to the Federal Authority For Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security, signed and stamped by employer
Establishment Card copy of employer
6-months latest bank statements
(showing monthly salary credit of not less than AED30,000 per month)
Tawtheeq copy
(Abu Dhabi tenancy contract)
Valid passport copy
Valid residence visa copy
Valid Emirates ID copy
During the Golden Visa process, Immigration may also request a copy of the employer's WPS Statement. If requested, Gateway Group will inform the applicant as soon as we are made aware.

Golden Visa Processing Time
10-12 working days
Golden Visa Medical Screening
A visa medical, which includes general health questions, blood test and a chest X-ray, is mandatory for applicants 18 years and above. For certain occupations, a mandatory Hepatitis B vaccination is required, which is charged as an extra.
Applicant must be in the UAE throughout the Golden Visa processing
If the applicant needs to exit before the Golden Visa is issued, the application must be cancelled before exiting, voiding the entire process. Spent fees are non-refundable.
The applicant can leave the country once the residence visa is approved, providing that biometrics for the Emirates ID have been completed.
Golden Visa Emirates ID
The physical Emirates ID card is usually issued within a few days of visa approval.
